Also…I am over halfway through the rewrite of The Saviour & Hi-Jax. Despite failing to get it finished by June, I’m hopeful to get it sorted before 2015 is over. Stay tuned and see you soon!

Much has changed…

Hey, everyone.

I apologize again for the late updates to this website. 2015 has been full of ups & downs, both creatively and personally. For those who haven’t known, Beartown Radio ceased broadcasting back in January, which subsequently meant no more Box of Stuff and an end to my radio career. For now, anyway…

My time on-air  will be covered in the new ‘Radio’ page, and I’m filling in the gap with rewriting the next book ‘The Saviour & Hi-Jax’. The plan is to get the book finished by the end of June. So far, I’m making progress.

Also, I’m pleased to announce that ‘Bear Spirit’ has been nominated for this year’s Parsec Awards in the category of Best Speculative Fiction Story: Small Cast (Novella Form). To check out the story, download for FREE at!

More artwork and poems are now available to browse, and I aim to update this website more regularly. I’ve got plans for 2015, and am working to see them come to fruition. For more news and regular updates, please visit my Official Facebook right here.

See you all soon.

Greetings, chums! Long time, no see!

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, and that you have a positive 2015!

I will start mine by saying…‘Hooray! My website is restored!’

It’s been a long time in the making but I’m pleased that my website is finally functioning again. I do apologise for leaving it in such a sorry state for so long, but much has changed over the last few years. Learning to drive, getting on radio, covering local events, work, becoming an uncle, and with several projects on the go, this website has had to be shunted to the backbench.

However, all is now more professional-looking again, and I’ll do my best to keep on top of it and avoid neglecting it again. I’m still on Facebook and YouTube (both of which you can check out under ‘Links’), so tune-in there for updates of ongoing projects, as well as my radio show ‘The Box of Stuff’, every Tuesday night on Beartown Radio at 7pm.

Writing-wise, my 2013 radio serial ‘Bear Spirit’ is released in podcast novel form courtesy of the great folks of! Check it out HERE at Also, I’m in the midst of re-writing ‘The Saviour & Hi-Jax’ – the long-awaited sequel to ‘The Saviour’ – for a 2015 release (that’s the plan, anyway), so plenty of stuff to expect in the foreseeable future.

Take care, everyone. Stay tuned!

The Daily Kingdom

To them, I stock papers.

To me, I provide news.

What is their library

is my gift to the people.

To them, I just stand & serve.

To me, I run, I labour, I negotiate…

What is their library

is what I manage and provide.

To them, I know nothing.

To me, I know what and when.

What is their library

is really mine.

My knowledge, my wealth.

My riches, my spoils.

My pride, my frustration.

My trenches, my throne.

To them…it’s just a shop.

Just a convenience.

Utterly mundane.

To me…they’re right.

It’s not glamorous.

But it is mine.

Pain of Art

Picking up a brush with one rogue bristle,

Is enough to ruin a whole labourer’s work.

Constantly upset by the stress whistle,

Enraged by the onlooker’s mocking smirk;

The mind insists that where projects lurk.

No clay warrior’s armour should crack!

Mona Lisa does not look like a jerk!

The innocent canvas receives a smack

As the tormented brush splatters the attack.

Feelings are expressed, emotions evoked.

These elitists have clearly got the knack.

Unlike those sadly, whose dreams are revoked

By the crushing realisation of no-talent,

Or the misfortune that makes one lament.
